Painter Traveler

For George Lewis, travel has been a source of inspiration for his past work and continues to provide stimulus in his most recent compositions. Most recently he has been exploring the Middle East, with particular focus on Arabia, chronicling the evolution and transformation of its landscape and people. He is currently working on a photographic book, provisionally entitled The Gulf Phenomenon, with Stacey International, about the Gulf of Arabia to be published in 2009.

He has recently been appointed a Royal Court painter for His Majesty The Sultan of Oman.
